Re:Catherine 21,
Oh I see. I thought you meant it might be good for some people on pip who are worried about how it's going to affect them.

Tbh I skimmed it i never read things properly just thought many young people who like sports ect might engage i dont know what im reading half the time i did phone claim for uc lets see how it goes

Glad you got it sorted. Ti's rather nerve racking I know. The later phone calls I see you asking about aren't that much to worry about. If you told them about hb or charges, it will probably be about that. Was with me.Nothing really else to worry about, you done the hard work. Be pleased for yourself. Get planning for your Xmas now! 😌

My neighbour said he wasn't asked for four months bank statements and he sent top of bank statements with his bank details and torn off all his incoming and outgoings said he didn't have to go to jc for ID check ?? I dont think that's right is it

Glad you got it done, the dummy form Kimi posted was very good for me to plan what to write.. Think I did the form in 10 mins. Phone call and jobcentre appointment was far easier and layed back than I thought was going to be but that's anxiety for ya

I was told that it takes 5 weeks so yer get transitional payment from esa then it's 3 weeks until first UC payment. I got another transitional payment couple days before first UC payment that I shouldn't have that was deducted from first payment.
I think your all done now, I actually like the way it's done online, can send messages, see your payment statements. Far better than receiving them dreaded brown envelopes through post. Keep logging in.

Remember Labour want to end LCW and LCWRA with PIP becoming the entry to the health element of UC. Alan Milburn mentioned this "duty to engage" last year, there will be tiers.
Nigel Farage/Reform can say what they want but if they go too far they'll face a massive backlash, he'll target the "Neets", he wants them to work, he said as much to Peston. Since Covid the under 25 cohort have seemingly put themselves under Lockdown to this day, I think the Covid saga hit them hard mentally and for people to say "get a grip" makes me sick, help them for heaven sake.
Ultimately if you have evidence nobody can do a thing, gather evidence, a paper trail of your incapacities, ask family or friends to create a dossier or do it yourself.

Yes definitely I agree

Re:Jason ra
Forgive my ignorance, but what are the neets?
1 -
We eat them on Burn's Night, with tatties and haggis.

Are you saying Chris75 that far far up north they're resorting to cannibalism and eating their mp's? And farage said it on Preston? Good god man what's the world coming to!
1 -
I'd rather eat the grass, or leaves on the trees tbh. Can you imagine passing an MP?

No statements. Just 3 types of id. Passport, NHS card and bank card. They asked if bank card had my name on it and sort code as some don't. She was very nice. Let us all know how it went.
