Self sabotaging out of nowhere!!!
I have recently started a vicious cycle of putting myself down!!
Things like not good enough,
Comparing myself to others ,
Ugly,
Bad dad/husband
Just out right tell myself I’m failing!!
I don’t know what’s triggered this! I’m madly in love with my wife my kids are my world yet for some reason I’m staring to destroy myself and I struggle to stop!!

We all do it to some extent and at times like that I remind myself:
One of the falacies of the human condition is precisely that our effectively infinite capacity for imagination enables us always to imagine things being better. No matter how good things get.
Whilst that can be very positive, it can also be a burden. We can always imagine things could be better, and that includes ourselves.
Achievable aspirations can be great things to have. For all sorts of reasons however most of us can't do everything. Life really can get in the way sometimes, and our problem-solving nature can lead us to overanalyse the things we do. We can always find faults with virtually everything.
I like to hope I do my best, but I accept I'm unlikely to be perfect all the time.
If something concerns me and I can do something about it, I will. If I can't there's nothing I can do about it and there's no point worrying, so I don't.
It works for me. Good luck

#@Tigerstar,
The previous person's comments sound 'good', Most us have had similar experiences in our lives and we all feel the feelings you are experiencing, so try not to allow the negative thoughts cloud your own ability or judge your self. Might be wise words, yet very difficult to control when you are stuck with issues that at the moment are challenging to overcome.
Hope this also 'helps' you to find some peace with yourself esteem. Good luck.
