Remember Labour want to end LCW and LCWRA with PIP becoming the entry to the health element of UC. Alan Milburn mentioned this "duty to engage" last year, there will be tiers.
Nigel Farage/Reform can say what they want but if they go too far they'll face a massive backlash, he'll target the "Neets", he wants them to work, he said as much to Peston. Since Covid the under 25 cohort have seemingly put themselves under Lockdown to this day, I think the Covid saga hit them hard mentally and for people to say "get a grip" makes me sick, help them for heaven sake.
Ultimately if you have evidence nobody can do a thing, gather evidence, a paper trail of your incapacities, ask family or friends to create a dossier or do it yourself.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the neets?

Are you saying Chris75 that far far up north they're resorting to cannibalism and eating their mp's? And farage said it on Preston? Good god man what's the world coming to!

No statements. Just 3 types of id. Passport, NHS card and bank card. They asked if bank card had my name on it and sort code as some don't. She was very nice. Let us all know how it went.

Yes I know that with my dad same, since Syd went they both gone down hill as they haven't got him in the house, the loss of such a character that they are is devastating and affects my anxiety really bad the future etc. Such a horrible time when they go I know I'm not same since that terrible night π, sending thoughts π

For some people it can be that simple @Catherine21! Obviously things can go wrong and there are lots of stories about people who have struggled with the process, but the people who have a smooth migration often don't talk about it as much. It can sometimes feel like it never goes well for anyone when there are definitely positive experiences out there too. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly for you π€
It would be fab if we could move the conversation back to things about the UC bill on this discussion now. It can get confusing for others to find the right information if other chats are happening.
But you're always welcome to create a new discussion if you want to chat through other things or share how your migration is going βΊοΈ

Ours was straight forward for our daughter, our sonβs has been a nightmare. Everything was correct for our daughter, waiting to see what our sonβs first statement says but not hopeful after the nightmare so far.
