Been put on the scope naughty step

Every single message I currently send gets puts in the filter, and its driving me mad. I would understand if I used certain words but I've tried different ones and still message gets put in approval filter.

If you don't want free speech, and don't want me here then just say. I'll happily leave and suffer somewhere else. But to call yourselves a disability charity and yet continually punish someone over and over again.

I wouldn't care so much is your approval system was actually useful, but once approved the message dissapears anyway. never showing in recent discussions or making the thread alive again. Instead most messages that get approved get buried.

Also if you want an approval system like yours, then you need staff 24/7 on the forum. waiting a whole 12 hours for the message to appear and then buried is disgusing on a disability platform. What if someone needed urgent help.

Please for the love of god sort it out scope. its one of the reasons I don't support you anymore.

Sorry you're feeling that way @rubin16 ,truly. As explained in this discussion, it's not something we've chosen to implement, it's now a law that we have to follow, or there would be no community at all. I've had to release several of my own comments and many other users have had comments stick in the keyword filter, so it's not focusing on you at all.

I have raised the issue of released comments not showing on the recent activity screen, so that will be looked into and there will be tweaks made to the keyword filter in the future, so hopefully things will settle soon. But your feedback is appreciated and will be passed on to the powers that be.

If someone needs urgent help they should not be relying on an internet forum for that!

You're right, but I think that's something whereby you need look at from the point of view of others

(that probably sounds condescending, as I know you will do yourself being in a position where the internet is one of the only sources accessible to you)

It seems every organisation - even NHS services - is assertive in declaring that they're not an emergency service. Then, A&E themselves urges people not to attend for mental health reasons without first consulting with one of these non-emergency services

Using a Karl Pilkington line, I imagine many service users feel like they're being knocked about between different services like a ping pong ball! 😆

There is no real help in this country, the help you receive from one of these services isn't really help at all. Its a placebo, its only purpose is to make the NT's believe they are doing good and helping.

I used one of these services last night, and already knew her generic response before she gave it. Its more useful to yell at a brick wall then ever get mental health help in this country. And then the NT's wondered why people are dying or showing up desperate at a&e's.

The system is broken, the world is broken, humanity is broken and society is about to break down. The world as we know it is about to end and no one can stop it. I don't want to live in this spiteful nasty world anymore.

@rubin16 please reach out to your GP about how you're feeling. I know you don't trust neurotypical people, but I'm worried about how you're speaking about not wanting to be in this world anymore.

I can't trust my GP, or pretty much anyone else especially anyone who is NT. Theres no help that the GP can give me that I want or need. My problem is I am awake to what humanity has done to this world, and is currently doing. Its like watching sheep everyday, conform to the rules of society and as soon as you say no, or don't conform you are silenced and tortured to the point you give in. I feel like an alien in this world, and everyday is like torture just sitting here watching humanity destroy itself.

I am a well known cybersecurity expert in the UK, and on the UK's hotlist for known hackers, wrote books on hacking, been offered jobs with the government (GCHQ). Was apart of a well known hackivist group in my teens which took down various services and devices, but later reversed my ways and taught the dangers of online safety.

What I have learnt over the years has stopped me wanting to do anything other than curl up in a ball and die, the world as we know is about to be gone, no one can stop it. the damage is already done and cannot be reversed. Whats the point living anymore waiting for the ultimate end coming up in the next couple of years, theres nothing but pain and suffering when we reach that point.

Yes, the internet is the only option for me now. But that still doesn't mean I can or would rely on a forum like this during emergency situations. That is not what the forum is designed for.

No-one and nowhere seem to take responsibility for anything any more. They'd rather just put out those declarations removing their own responsibility to avoid potential law suits than offering actual help, learning from mistakes and making real world improvements to their processes over time.

I completely agree with Rubin that the 'help' services claim to offer is no help at all. It's all just generic rubbish read from a script. A few years ago I was pleased to see that one service opened an online email option…but even that wasn't actually help. They just said they were there to 'listen', not provide any practical assistance…so again a complete waste of both my time and theirs.

If it is a genuine emergency then people should be calling 999. Not that that's accessible to people like myself, of course. I have just had to accept that I have no way to manage an emergency situation myself now. I have one relative that I can text, but once they go, I'll be left with no option at all. Though as they are also my only source of food, I won't be able to manage existence for long after that anyway. I wish other people would understand how difficult basic daily life is for some of us. I actually find it offensive that many people think anyone not wanting to be here must have a mental illness making them think that way.
