Never really considered them before

Has anyone seen this video? I've always kind of discounted them as feels like no one else but labour/conservative will ever get in but really liked listening to this
I kind of assumed their policies are only focussed on being green so I found it quite surprising

I've personally been quite impressed with Zaks messaging with the Greens recently. It's nice to see there's actual alternatives for our votes now and it's nice having people talking about positives again. 😊

Interesting video @biblioklept, thanks for sharing.
Just had a look at the Greens' website, I thought of looking a few months ago.
Just googled the various parties' membership numbers (not verified source) but Labour was at 309,000; Reform 250,000, Conservative I think was 133,000 and Greens 88,000. Labour's numbers were as at February 2025, the rest were more recent. I suspect Labour's have reduced greatly since February (no evidence, only my own mind 😃).
I received an email off Labour a few months ago stating something to the effect of Please come back, we NEED you. I don't think so.
It will be interesting to see how the Green's do at the local elections next May, they currently have only 4 MPs apparently.

I find it interesting that socially they seem aimed at working class people
I've often found green ("green" as in eco-friendly, not the party) policies to favour those who could afford to be eco-friendly, or equally to penalise those who can't
The idea of fulfilling eco goals by incentivising people who need the money (i.e. poorer people) to be more eco-friendly is quite clever, kills 2 birds with 1 stone, and the wealthy environmentalists who've done well off the back of the eco policies up till now can't complain without being exposed as financially motivated
Most of all, there's a nice supply of poor people at the moment, thanks to all the previous governments leading up till now 😅

Last year, as a protest against Starmer's Labour, I voted the Greens for the first time, but never again. I'll never vote a party that wants to legalise drugs, no matter how its other policies are attractive.
