I have plenty of squirrels in the garden, I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but they're nice to watch with all the antics.

This discussion is filling me with so much joy right now. Thanks for sharing the lovely pics @Wozza I'm a big squirrel fan.

@JessieJ that's such an amazing story, it's so so rare for people actually getting to see pigeons and their young, what a treat! Sorry to hear the rescue didn't have a happy ending, it's such a shame when we can't save them all.

Here's a few more from earlier in the year @Albus_Scope

I've never seen squirrels relaxing before, they're usually bouncing about and chasing each other .

Aawww, that's a sad ending but glad she returned back 'home' and to her brother, she'd had some adventure but some trauma too 💔❣️💕. I had wood pigeons nesting recently, was later than usual I don't know if it was due to the hot weather. I've put little protective circles on my windows to stop the birds knocking themselves out on my windows, they'd all recovered quickly but these seem to have worked well.

    Thank you 😊

I've got quite a few wildlife shots that I've taken, but I don't want to clog the thread 😅

In Scotland, land owners are culling tens of thousands of grey squirrels, in order to save our native Red squirrel. They are actually a 'non-native invasive species'.

I like them both, and thanks for the pictures. 😀

    Yeah that's why I said they're not everyone's cup of tea 😅

I'm in North London, so no chance of seeing any reds for me locally unfortunately, and I've only seen them during a Center Parcs trip in Penrith, lovely creatures

I saw my little squirrely friend "Patt" sitting on the shed roof during lunch, I tried to take a photo, but they decided it was time for more adventure. Maybe tomorrow.

Cumbria is very much like the Scottish Highlands in places, a nice place to visit.

I've been up to Scotland a couple of times, only the more touristy places for most of the time though, but it's a beautiful place

A three way meter for testing soil which I never really use any more, but I think it's pretty cool, doesn't run off batteries so I'm guessing it's solar powered?

Just catching up on all these pics. I'm loving them! Always love an animal picture. I'm intrigued by that device @Ross1975. It might be good for me to keep plants alive!

Here's a picture I took of my other desk buddy. A gold star for anyone who can tell me the film it's from and it's name!

Little Shop of Horrors? I've got no idea what it's name is.
