    Hi @jamespdorrington
Welcome to the community, I am sorry to hear how upset and stressed you are feeling.  Remember that you are a member of our community and we appreciate you.

If you are having thoughts of suicide, it is important that you discuss them with someone who is qualified to help. Please call the Samaritans on 116 123 (free) or email them at jo@samaritans.org

You might also benefit from reading MIND’s information on how you can help yourself:

    http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/suicidal-feelings/how-can-i-help-myself/

If you feel that you may be an immediate danger to yourself, please call 999 or go to your local hospital right away.

There is support out there to get through the PIP appeal processes, hurting yourself is not going to help.  WOuld you like to speak to a Scope helpline member? You can get in touch on 0808 800 3333 and they can give you information about appealing the DWP decision.

So sorry you are being put through this.
Thank you for joining our community, we will do all we can to help and support you.

It is important to understand the points system, descruptors and the criteria for an award. A good starting place is the self test on the B&W site

Have you got a copy of the assessment report ? or just the decision letter ?
