    Hi.

The Statement of Reasons does not get read out at the tribunal. It is a letter that the judge produces afterwards, showing how they have made their decision.

If a person is not awarded at tribunal, then they need to find an Error of Law in that statement. Most people will not know the exact laws, so they will need legal assistance for this. Fortunately most people are awarded correctly at tribunal, and do not have to go on to this stage.

I had to pull out at that time because I was getting nasty letters from the judge who was going to be the judge at my tribunal. I was so ill because of the stress. However if they cut my pip even more at next review I will not back down from a tribunal and ask for a different judge.
