Working part time with PIP/LCWRA/UC/ESA

i am on all of the above for the last 16 months and just wondering where i stand when it comes to potentially working part time (under 16hrs p/w)?

i am certainly not ok physically or mentally ready to work full time but i would really like to try and get back out there and see how i am/socialise more and try and get back into working. i have applied for a reception job for potentially upto 16 hours per week. would i be ok to take this position if offered? i am worried and scared, i have taken alot and its been very draining to get to this position of where i am benefit wise and how i've had to fight again during my PIP review this year, i don't want to be worse off or lose any of my benefits but i also don't want to remain indoors and out of work forever i would like to try and do a few hours at least to see how i go, i have always worked up until 16/17 months ago.

    Access to work should be able to provide to you any specific equipment you need, transport to and from work and an in work support worker. Where abouts are you from? As I work in a company that sort of things but it's primarily based in the North East of England

    PIP won't be impacted, unless the job contradicts why you receive PIP.

    The same applies to ESA & UC.

    With UC you have a work allowance on your claim. This is the amount of money you can earn before UC make their standard deduction of 0.55p for every pound earned.

    If you receive Housing Element it is £411, £684 if not.
