How long are reviews taking atm?

just recieved my review form for PIP today how long will it take after i send the form back to hear back roughly? is it still 8-12+ months?

You will most likely get a message soon saying they have received your claim then occasional messages such as what type of assessment they want you to have.

There is no specific time frame.
It seems to vary.

Some claimants have a quick review of weeks and others months, up to 12 months. As said, there is no exact timeframe.

I sent my form back in July for my award which was up early next year. I just received a txt saying it’s been decided on paper. I’ve no idea if it’s good or bad as I thought there was a backlog .

I had paper based and got awarded high rate both elements ongoing for ten years.
Mine took about 5 months to go through.

I have highest for both until early next year so wasn’t expecting a decision so fast especially due to the backlogs. I just hope it’s good news as I’m stressed about it already.
