❄️ Warm Home, Lower Bills: Winter Tips That Save ❄️
I recently had an opportunity to complete some training with National Energy Action – the UK’s leading fuel poverty charity which provided some fantastic information on saving costs and keeping warm during the colder months.
I’ve also spent some time understanding our very own Energy Support Team and learned there’s so much more in their offerings than I ever realised!
I can’t wait to share this information with you all in a series of posts designed to help keep us all warm and safe during the Winter, and maybe even save some money too!

Are we supposed to get a warm home discount?
I did read something about if you are on benefits, despite what property you are in.

My own HA sends out tips every year.
Including this https://www.habinteg.org.uk/tenant-news/winterproof-your-home-with-heating-and-freezer-tips-2802/
Although a bane of mine is blocking up ventilation.. PLEASE keep some ventilation in your home or have the windows open at regular intervals at least twice a day.

If you own your property you may be able to make use of the Energy Saving Trust https://energysavingtrust.org.uk/energy-at-home/
Or see if there's a local group in your area.. Ours gives out free stuff at their advice events . And that's free stuff such as radiator 'foil', wall thermometers, lightbulbs etc..2
