558.38 units I think it says on my october statement, I don't know if that's usual? I must admit I get super stressed with bills and haven't looked into them properly, I'm sure I can get it cheaper

This kind of thing always happens to me. If I were to ask a neighbour about my energy costs, they would invariably state that they were only ten quid a week, or whatever. This has happened a number of times over many years.

Just checked, and I payed £98.68 for October. That is electric and gas (Ecotricity)
I have 2 scooters and a powerchair to charge, I use my gas central heating when I need it, no rationing.
Green Electricity - 32.34p (per kWh) - 6 9.33p per day Standing Charge Rate.
Green Gas - 7.47p (per kWh) - 41.76p per day Standing Charge Rate.

Lot of people using foodbanks when they don't need to, saving money on groceries and then using the money for things like holidays.

Mate, I don't have to check anything, as I am not asking any questions. You are trying to provoke me and it won't work, have a nice day.

I have never used a food bank, but don't you need a referral? It's not just turning up and asking. I really don't know.

No, I wouldn't think that's usual for a gas & electric property.
I've just checked and mine was 375 units in October including heating and hot water.
It was only around 100 units for that month without heating and hot water.
I don't see how you can be using that much electricity as a single person, without any of it being on heat or hot water.
You might be able to find a cheaper tariff as well, but I would want to know where all these extra units are going before looking into the prices.

I average £38 per month just for electricity, im on a communal heating system/hot water which is £72 per month paid to the council for a 1 bed bungalow.
