I cannot see my answer to you. Borehole costs about 12k to drill plus treatment devices to make the water safe. Say 20k total. Mains water 50k plus to where I am.

Water aid can put water into Africa for peanuts but not here in the uk.

Borehole is checked by council and service guys twice annually. It’s ok while working but expensive if it goes wrong and no subsidies. Since national ins went up my water service costs have sored.

My water bill is around £80 pm no matter how much I use plus breakdowns If a large family lived here then it’s ok but for me it’s expensive.
