I personally wouldn’t say it has that sort of connotation or context to the image. Skull and Crossbones has been around for hundreds of years. The last Jolly Roger flown on a mast was when HMS Conqueror sailed up the River Clyde in 1982.
You can buy t shirts with a similar image, or men with arthritis with Harley Davidson’s or Indian’s will have its as a logo for there motorbike group.0 -
Taken a wee bit out of context and has no reference to the devision you speak of. Loosely based on the Jolly Roger, last flown on a mast when HMS Conqueror Sailed up the River Clyde in 1982. Many men in America have it on the back of biker vest’s when riding a Harley or an Indian Motorbike. The Jolly Roger has been around for centuries.

I was just my initial impression, what with the skull appearing to wear a Stahlhelm. Dont biker gangs like a bit of Schutzstaffel memorabilia for shock value?

I am so excited to get home to decorate that I went to look at Christmas decorations today at my favourite Spanish department store, El Corté Inglés. Wowza! What a collection. Here are some of my faves...
@Ross1975 they have quite a few mushrooms decorations here too. Weird! What is the relevance to Christmas? Dunno. There is one that I actually like, made of glass....

StarryEyed, some of those decorations look very cool, especially the nutcracker men.
I've got no idea what relevance mushrooms have to Christmas but I guess they go with the woodland creature decorations which seem to have become popular over the last couple of years.
I have a few plush mushroom and woodland creature decorations myself.

I recently bought these bubble lights/candles which I will put on my tree, they used to be very popular in America in the 40's to 70's. They're coming from China so it will take a while for them to arrive.
