hello all you lovely peeps, I was wanting some advice I've just noticed on one of my reports I've been scanning through and seemed to have missed.
Can anybody please advise if they have come across the following in PIP notes on account transaction history…….

Transaction, Light touch review, then Description, Light touch review changed from BLANK to YES and the date this was updated was 18/4/2024

Has this been changed to make sure I get a review or will this be another start from fresh claim, I'm on ongoing award to be contacted after Feb 2027.
I'm not too sure what this means hoping somebody could advise if they know what this means as it's dated 18/04/2024 and haven't had a form yet.
Thank you in advance any advice would be greatly appreciated!

it sounds like you've been given a ten year light touch review so likely won't hear anything until 2033.

Hi @Nightcity thank you for replying..

Is this because of the change in the transaction by the case owner from light touch review from blank to yes?
I was under the impression I would be contacted in 2026 with a light touch review?
I never filled a review form in I just just noticed this was added to the transaction history upon reading my PA4 request that was done in 2017

Does this happen I've not heard it being done without a form for review filling in the forms for light touch review

Any help would be very helpful as I'm worried with all the changes that are in talks about all this thank you again

the only way to be 100% is to unfortunately call the DWP and ask but a case manager is above an assessor so it sounds good new either way 😃

thank you for your help I'll just wait and see I get annual updates and noticed that my dates are akways noted as ongoing claim so you could be right but I would have thought a form would have been sent for the review to happen time will tell I suppose, would it be the case manager that would put this into the claim in 2024 as blank to yes or an assessor I'm sorry for not understanding….thanks

a case manager is just a fancy name given to a decision maker, so it's the person who made the final decision about your claim if they put yes on light review, it seems very reasonable to assume that you won't get a review form because you're now not due for review, light touches tend to last ten years. to put your mind at rest you would have to request a copy of your assessment or simply ask when you're next due a review, I suspect it'll be 2033 going by what's here 😃
