Hi @ella1992 The UC review team will have done lots of reviews for people with gambling issues before. If you explain to them what's happening and be honest about any money going in and out, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Has your husband's gambling ever taken you over the £6,000 limit?

Hi @ella1992, I mean if your husband had won over £6,000, or if he won enough money to take your bank account above £6,000 for a length of time. It sounds like he wasn't doing that so hopefully there's nothing to worry about.

Just try to be honest if they ask. As I said earlier, they will have met people with gambling problems before so they should understand some of the patterns.

That should be fine @ella1992 ☺️ they may have a couple of questions about the money going in and out, but they should understand that it's a difficult thing to control. How's your husband doing now? Is he getting any support with his gambling?

There's a support line here if he needs any advice: https://www.gamcare.org.uk/

No that should be fine too @ella1992. They're mostly looking out for people who are abusing the system and you're not doing that.

Paying for things on clearpay or other pay later services isn't against the rules. Just tell them about it if they ask ☺️

I'm afraid I'm not too sure, but hopefully the people on the call will be able to tell you. They won't immediately tell you off or stop your payments if it's not right, they'll just ask you to submit something else ☺️

Have they asked you for any specific things yet other than bank statments? If not, it may be worth just waiting until the call to find out what they'd like you to provide.

It sounds like you're doing everything you can to be prepared. Perhaps like you have done above, you can collect some screenshots that you think will be useful to them and keep them in a folder on your phone or computer. Things that show the history of any payments over the last 4 months on any services you or your husband use.

Then if they need them, you have them ready and if they're not quite what they're after they can ask for something else.
