Fellow screen reader users - how to use the text box on this website?
Hiya,
I hope this is allowed and if it is, it’s in the right section - I can’t see a section specific to visually impaired people anymore.
Are there any other voiceover/NVDA users on this forum?
If so, do you have any tips for using the text input box for making posts and replying to posts on here?
I’ve just come back here after a long time away and it’s all changed!! It used to be you could type plain text and there weren’t all these menus to click on to access formatting options and you could just type emojis into the box.
I can’t find anymore information about it anywhere. So thought I’d ask.
Thanks in advance

Good morning @inmybubble,
Not a voiceover/NVDA user, but we have some guides to using the community which might prove useful.
To address the issue of emojis specifically: if you're using the desktop version of the site, there's an emoji picker in the bottom left corner of the comment box, but if you're using the mobile version of the site, you can input emojis directly from your device's emoji menu, like you would in an SMS or WhatsApp message.
