Some beautiful pictures. Thank you. I don't know how to start my own thread so apologise for hijacking someone else's. But has anyone ever tried growing peace lily from seed? Mine ' flowered ' and the ' flower ' has gone brown. The seeds are in there and I'd like to have a go at growing them. Any ideas please? I can't get into my garden now but got a lot of houseplants. A guess would say about 50 in total . And a dozen packets of different seeds!😃. Can't get to my windows now, the ledges are covered! I love em! Miss pottering about in the greenhouse and have no idea why my son says I'm a hoarder!😄😄

When the pods go black the seeds should be ready to sow soak them in warm water for a day then plant in potting compost in moist but we'll draining pot on an indoor window call and let nature do its magic good luck

Is anyone starting to plan what they'll grow this year?
I'm starting to think about the veggies, but I can't decide! I had a bit of a bad year in the garden last year with not enough time to focus on keeping things going. The wildlife definitely ate more than I did 😂
The tomatoes went really well though! I made some lovely sauces and chutney, so I think I'll do some more of those. Anyone got any low-effort veggie or other planting recommendations?

bit to early to direct sow in the garden just yet you can start off toms peppers and aubergines on an indoor window sill lettuce and some brassicas can go in outdoor coldframes the problem with to early sowing in the garden is the lack of light leading to spindly plants and lack of produce got the cold spell yet to come

Very good point @michael57! I tend to start things off on my sunny windowsill, but it's still a bit early yet to plant anything. Just need to start making the decisions about what I'll grow once the time comes ☺️
Will you be growing all those beautiful dahlias again this year?

haha all the tubers are still in there pots and planters ready for the new season i dont lift them at all but i may take a few tubers off big clumps for new plants so the answer is yes

Not sure about potatoes - not a good year last year. But probably flowers, peas & beans, .. We have a fair bit of perennial veg and fruit bushes as well. Which I need to start winter pruning.. Possibly my cold fingers job for tomorrow.
I might try some daliahs this year. Not only beautiful but edible..
