4:30 am email from them about ESA/UC decuctions.

Hello,

they sent me an email at 4:30 am on Saturday. It upset me deeply the wording of the email, my sister calls in at 5am so that was the longest 30 minutes since Dad died.

Basically when I migrated over from ESA (support group) to UC

281 every 2 weeks is still via ESA the rest is UC. So the entry in the journal said ESA is affecting the amount of UC they pay with deductions of 609 a month, the ESA comes in at 562 a month. Everything else on the breakdown looks okay like the rent etc. People were kind enough to explain previously

that some are keeping part of the ESA in the migration owing to legacy benefits before ESA. In my case it was SDA, Sorry if asking too much

but does that figure sound about right? Its upset us all day having an email like that the wording was very confusing and upsetting.

    That is correct, £281.10 from ESA every two weeks, with £609 deducted from the UC.

    It's not personal and is exactly the same for me and everyone else who's been moved with a UC top up.

    please try not to worry absolutely nothing is wrong here, Unfortunately the DWP does have a rather cold and clinical tone in their correspondence .

    I always ignore mine as there is nothing I need to do after receiving them.

    Sometimes I get them 3 months in a row, then none for 7 months.

    Mine are sent at 2:06am.

    hearing this really has helped, like others always dreaded the postman but when I saw that so early i did vomit I have to get used to this now, thank you so much for explaining
