I’ve just received an email from eBay saying that I have to pass on my NI number to HMRC. What should I do. Only selling my own used goods Will this affect my benefits. Thanks

You need to comply with the request.
If you are only selling your own used goods then there is no need to report anything to UC unless your capital has gone over £6k. Your claim won't be impacted.
