Functional neurological disorder - New wheelchair user
Hi my name is Nikki I'm 55 and in 31/12/2018 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor I have since been diagnosed with fnd and I'm still trying to find the new me as I'm now a wheelchair user

A new diagnosis can take a while to process and it's really common to feel like you are finding yourself again, were you offered any post diagnosis support?0 -

I went to one clinic session to confirm diagnosis but it's more read and find out yourself x

Hi @Nikki1070, I'm sorry they weren't helpful at the clinic. You might already know about it but I found this organisation which might be useful for you . There are lots of wheelchairs users here who could share their experiences and help you adjust. I've just updated the title of your post so hopefully our members will start to reply. Is there anything you're finding particularly challenging in using your wheelchair?
