LWCRA
I got awarded LWCRA yesterday and I just wanted to know when I will be paid and if I will be backdated. I am paid on the 14th every month and my assessment period is normally 7th-8th I think. I provided first fit note 17th July.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment.
Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes? It is the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.
Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA themselves?
Do you have any Transitional Protection on your claim?

no there was no gaps and I don’t have a partner or any transition protection

it was the 23rd July that it was posted on my uc

My estimate of your waiting period:
July/August: Partial Assessment Period not counted for waiting period
August/September: AP 1
September/October: AP 2
October/November: AP 3
November/December: Eligible for LCWRA element
December 14th: First LCWRA element paid
Even though you've received the decision, UC do need time to process everything.
If LCWRA element is missing from your next statement, I estimate they will owe you one months LCWRA element.
Backpay is calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least.
You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days. New version of your statement will be added.

will I get it paid in my December payment

UC need time to process the decision, so I don't know if it will be in your December payment. It's unlikely but not impossible.
