I thought anxiety, lack of nourishment and not being well Rubin, you've had a dizzy or light headed spell. You can get chest pain with anxiety too. Though you were checked out and if something was wrong you would have been told by now. The ECG was a good thing, your heart may have thrown a few harmless wobbly beats as you are not well… I get palpitations and they don't bother me either.

Yeah that would make alot of sense, i'm also being forced to be social, being touched continually etc so could be part sensory overload. It was just scary as literally came from no where. but i'm not worried now, if it was anything serious i'm sure i'd hear / see them do something.
Thanks.

How are you today rubin

Great news guys, I really wanted to try abit of food this morning so nurse suggested half a small bowl of Rice Crispys with a tiny bit of milk and so far i've kept it down, my pain is slightly improving too. Just spoke with doctors they said if I manage to slowly start eating again they can remove the NG tube on Monday, and if things are better from then perhaps look at going home later next week. I can't wait to go home.

Tbh nurse said she was starting my feed soon, and that was over an hour ago. But don't want to sleep and be woken again.

Point taken, you may as well wait. You could sleep but not get off again after. I don't sleep well in hospital, usually watching films to late into the night....

I'm pretty much the same, I just watch some youtube till i'm due my very latest painkiller and then try sleep as long as possible. Normally its 4 hours then I wake up in agony again, but nurses and doctors are smart and learnt this so they have a painkiller timed at 5:30am.
I'm in high hopes today thanks, I managed some lunch (Half small bowl of soup, and abit of mash potato with gravy) and kept it down, I did get really painful stomach ache afterwards for a few hours. but i'm going to keep having something now and slowly get my body used to food again. I just want to get well and go home, i'm starting to get overloaded now and I think thats why I had that anxiety attack yesterday.

Good they have sorted the painkillers as you need sleep for recovery. Good you have high hopes that you are in the mend too! Keep at it and hopefully not there much longer. It can get to you in hospital after a while but with me and my condition I was glad to be there. Food's good at my hospital, they had a well known chef turn up and he did the recipes for the meals. There is not one I don"t like, get well looked after. I tell them I'm coming back for a week of TLC....Try and stay calm mate, watch a film or something, the time will pass!

Thanks Trevor, I actually don't mind the food either and rather enjoy it. Its far improved when I was younger staying in hospital, food back then was 🤢. They use a seperate company for meals and usually come round with an ipad/tablet day before and take your order, so far i've not disliked anything.
The nurse has just put my feed on, it now runs for 10 hours and I've got some IV Paracetamol going, so when this is done i'll be off to try sleep. Thanks again for asking how I was doing, i'll catch you tomorrow.
Night.
