Do I need to let DWP know about a hip replacement?

Hi. I am sixty nine yrs old receiving pip with light touch reviews, on list for a hip replacement probably get it next year, got severe osteoarthritis arthritis in both hips and knees as well as stenosis of the spine ( had laminectomy surgery ) also profoundly deaf, so not expecting this new hip to work miracles, but do I need to tell dwp that I have had it done. Thank you all..
