    Thought you meant Handmaids tale which was written about dystopian world. The author is Canadian. Can see similar things. Read both books and watched tv programme which does go overboard. Another programme on YouTube is called 1990 it, was made in the 1970s under Labour government at the time. But if you read what it's about on Wikipedia, it's like it is today.

    The face recognition is a concern with people being unfairly targeted, even if there innocent. AI gets things wrong. Cancelling major elections next year and this year in some parts is going down a slippery path, because they afraid of losing to Reform, the Green Party.
