hi all

I’m wondering if anyone can help my niece on the 25th August 2025 put in a change of circumstances due to more health issues also she suffers from severe anxiety disorder and depression, so she was to scared to call so she went into WebChat ( ADP Scotland ) on the 19th November 2025 they told her that they have received application on the 29th August and still to be seen ,by case manager ? I did read up on this and it’s says can take 8-10 weeks she hasn’t had no correspondence IE email text or call , she didn’t do it online she posted everything in form along with a lot of information ( hospital visits etc). I’m just curious & wondering is this normal to wait this long ? Has anyone else waited this long ? Or is it normal ? Trying to help my niece so I’m looking for any information
thank you for reading my message

@MRsGee2023 Change of Circumstances is classed as a new claim. Good she sent in the form and a lot of evidence. Yes, that time delay is normal so don't worry. This is ADP, but PIP is more than 12 to 15 weeks if a change of Circumstances is progressed quickly. If with a Case Manager still, there would be no contact.
