That's gorgeous!! Where is it?
Gutted over a broken mug??? OMG I totally get that. Totally!!! I get so emotionally attached to my mugs. You're the first one I know that gets that. For me, the trauma of a broken mug can last for a long time. Way too long. Too long that I won't even give you a time frame. I confess it's definitely not healthy. 😊

Random pic... 🤔
I hired a Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce (Sport) for a month. Alfa have finally moved into the SUV market with this vehicle. It has a 1.5 litre turbo charged petrol engine and is a mild hybrid too. 160bhp and 7 speed automatic gearbox. All driving modes and electronic suspension. Leather interior and stunning exterior looks. What a car, could not stop driving it. Did 1,000's of miles. In sports mode the electronic suspension tightened (stiffened) up instantly and noticeable, making the vehicle very agile and it was very quick. The mild hybrid save money when going slow down streets etc. Don't know if motability have this vehicle.

It's just gorgeous. I've never heard of the West Highland Highway. So I looked it up. What a treasure!! Are you still able to hike? I miss my hiking days like there's no tomorrow.

My class photo Summer of 1976. It was a record breaking summer that year with temperatures hovering around 100 degrees for months.

All over, but mainly Scotland. I like Moffat in Scotland and from Moffat there is lovely scenic route to Edinburgh. Drive this road every time I am up there. The Alfa Romeo made it and it was nice to drive an Italian csr.

Cool! I've never been to Scotland. I adore driving, driving since I was 16, but can't drive in Spain as I don't have a licence - or a car for that matter ☺️ So I live variously through you. That is such a great idea you have, to rent a fab car for a month. Wish I would have thought about that back in the day. Did you take any photos?

@Strawberry1 No, no. Thank you for your lovely pic! 😊

Unfortunately I did not take any photos, I might have the car but I don't have a mobile phone.... I have rented cars since I was 21, I just enjoy doing it and you drive the latest cars without owning them long term! Get driving again!

Who would think seeing you bombing around in your Alfa Romeo that you didn't own a phone?? 😊 Me driving in Spain is a pie in the sky. I've hit rock bottom. I can barely stand or walk. So I need to figure out how to get around in whole new ways plus learn how to be safe. That's a whole bunch of challenges staring me in the face. Forget about learning Spanish to the point of being able to get a licence. I'm so stuck right now. So very stuck. Trying to find my way out.
