Claim Closed After Review
My claim was closed for being over £16000 after a review, I have to pay back money which is fine and I intend to do so in full, but what is worrying me is LCWRA, does anybody know if there is a way to get my claim restarted after I paid back the money (I will be below £16000 after I paid it all back)
Or am I screwed and have to go through all the stress of re-applying for everything from scratch?

Unfortunately you'll have to start from scratch.
Rapid UC reclaim is only available if closure was due to earnings reducing UC award to zero, with a time limit of 6 months.

Thanks for answering, this is said for the reason why it was closed, is this the same thing you're talking about or is it something complentley different?

That's completely different to having more than £16k in capital which is the reason you gave for your claim closing.
If your claim closed due to having more than £16k capital my advice was correct.
I can't offer anything further.

Interesting, I just assumed it was for being over 16k because I was before the review
