Council tax discount

Sorry have moved over from ESA to UC was getting some discount on our council tax but now having to pay full amount we are both disabled receiving standard rates of pip my wife is a pension age I am not is this correct

Council Tax Reduction is decided on at a local level and each local authority has different rules for this, meaning it's very hard to advise on individual cases from here.
Some local areas treat UC differently to legacy benefits and some people have seen an increase in the amount of CT they have to pay.
I'd suggest contacting a local welfare rights organisation and getting your bill checked, as they will be familiar with the local authority rules.
