Hi @dbraz, Sorry to hear things are so difficult. If you're struggling with debt, have you spoken to Step Change? Sometimes they can help advise people on the best way to make things manageable again.

You might also like to speak to Scope's energy team to see if they can help you with your energy and water bills: https://www.scope.org.uk/disability-energy-support

We also have a helpline if you'd like to speak to someone about what you're facing. They're very kind and helpful: https://www.scope.org.uk/helpline

I'm sure our members will have some useful tips too but I hope that's somewhere to start. Fingers crossed things start feeling easier for you soon.

I’ve rang but no one rings back my debt has been looked at by step change and when you ask for someone to refer you to charity’s no one steps up

I'm really sorry to hear that @dbraz, it can be so exhausting trying to find someone who will take your case. Are there any grants that you might be eligible for? Turn2Us have a search tool here if you'd like to have a look:

yes thankyou for trying to help turn to us need a referral person that can accept either items vouchers and so forth the system has been made very difficult as people who shouldn’t be claiming these grants have made it difficult for people with mobility and persistent pain go through hell getting a social worker and they take their time if you’re lucky to get one that is helpful I have tried all of what you have pointed out I’m just going to say it has become to hard to

    Get help …..
