Does anybody else get bouts of anxiety and panic attacks from time to time.
For the past 2 to 3 years I've been having occasional bouts of panic attacks and anxiety. My doctor prescribed 50mg of Sertraline which I took for two years but I don't want to take it so every 6 months or so I try and lower my dose to 25mg but the anxiety keeps coming back. I hate the feeling and it makes me annoyed with myself hence always trying to lower my dose. Maybe I should just accept that I need it for the time being.

Hi @Druenos I get bouts of anxiety and it can be terrible, so I can completely empathise. I'm also prescribed Sertraline and have found it helpful but it's different for us all. I've added below a few links for posts I've added because a lot of the tips I find really help me. Hopefully they're helpful to you too ๐

As al members said that you are not alone ,Itโs frustrating when symptoms return after lowering medication. Maybe itโs not about โneeding it forever,โ just giving your mind the support it needs right now.

Don't think there anyone who doesn't get anxiety, it's what keeps some of us ticking. Daily anxiety is normal and the odd panic, it just depends if you can handle it or let it take you over.
