20 weeks is the usual amount of time for an application to be looked at so expect to hear at any time around 20 weeks before and it will be a PIP2 form PIP3 form etc.

when I was awarded pip , I noticed it ends thiS year around the time of my 66th birthday , surely this is a mistake as the reasons for the award will not have gone by then , in fact they are getting worse.
why do they do this? is it an assumption that I will not need. it as my life worth less

Hi @Bertie1960, many people get their PIP moved onto an indefinite award after they reach state pension age, especially if your conditions haven't changed. You shouldn't be suddenly taken off PIP if things have stayed the same for you. There's some information about it on the Citizens Advice website here:
If you're worried, you could contact the PIP enquiry line just to check what will be happening with your PIP.
Welcome to the community @Adamorganic2026. Sorry your post was missed at the time. Are you going through a PIP review? Hope everything's going well for you.
