Hi, I am new on here, in 2012 I broke my back, and received 3 wedge compressions and 3 fractures of vertebrae of lumber 1 through to 3. I have now got a slither of vertebrae that has slipped into my spinal column but just below where the nerves end. I have never applied for pip, as I have always been under the impression that as I can walk reasonable well although slow, and grit my teeth to pain I would never be able to receive any benefit. I cannot need at all for longer than 30 seconds or more, and cannot vacuum a room in one go, I have to do these things in parts, and sit down to give my back a rest. I cannot stand still for very long. Would there be a benifit I could try for, as at 67 I work for 1 1/2 hours a day, but I am finding that I trip with one leg on a more regular basis.
