Afternoon allllllll! ❤️
feel like I've missed something about beds…?! But it brought back memories about my own time having a bunk bed.
Me and my sister were terrors to each other having bunkbeds growing up, the person on the bottom would kick and poke at the mattress above, and the one above would throw things down and round at the other 😅
What're you doing after you finish jimmy stewart @Schildpad?? Anything exciting planned for dinner??

Feast your eyes know this little beauty.

OK, it's a hospital bed, not aesthetically pleasing, but necessary.

It looks very comfoy though @Chris75_!!! Is it really 7ft long?? Where will it fit?!
Gus (I assume that's the doggo in the picture??) looks a little unsure!!

That is a very fed up Gus. Two days without a walk, due to heavy wind and rain. He is used to up to 9.5 mile walks per day.
My living room is now my bedroom aand scooter store room. There are 2 scooters behind those room dividers.

That was my experimenting with the newly disposed bed. My poor furniture have been round and round the house a dozen times.

Does anyone know the number of 7-footers in the UK needing a hospital bed?

I think Gus is worried that Chris has o-v-e-r-s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d himself.

Well, this 5' 10" man does. I only just discovered that the duvet sets i bought, they don't contain a sheet! It was back to basic training, and underneath the bed pulling at the double sheet. Nobody will be checking for hospital corners this time!

The mattress is standard size btw, just the bed is 7 foot long. It has a remote control to raise and rise up at both ends. I think it will be very comfortable.

Did you not get the £150 Broader Group discount? I have been going mad with my heating all week!

What's that
Do you mean the warm discount £150
I get it in March

The same thing but in Scotland. I just looked it up. There is a core group and broader group.

What's those

I had a reasonable night having slept for a couple of hours.
I'm looking forward to going out to meet friends later for a few hours.

The Core Group is pensioners on Pension Credit, who get it automatically.
Disabled, means tested benefit claimants, low income households, they can apply to the Broader Group, assuming you don't meet the criteria for the Core Group.
It's just the same thing as in England and Wales, the Warm Home Discount.
