Very sad about Catherine O'Hara..
Other interesting director is Michael Haneke ...

I must have missed him as I don't recognise the film titles. I rarely watch films at home on my small screen but was hooked on Hunger Games+ on Freeview recently.

I enjoy Abbott & Costello, Norman Wisdom & the Carry On films.
He-Man, Thundercats, Transformers, Centurions, Bravestarr for cartoons
A-Team, Knightrider, Benny Hill for classic TV with The Mentalist, Chuck & Due South for newer (still old) shows

In the 1970s when I was about 12 I used to like watching Hammer house of Horror, and Wicked Women - both excellent a favourite film at that time was The Yearling, or on the horror side there was The Exorcist, Jaws etc. I loved the Sound of Music too. And I used to rush home from school to watch Shang a Lang with the Bay City Rollers. And of course there was Top of the Pops.
I'm currently watching a great series on Netflix - The Good Doctor. It's about a man who is very proud to have started working as a surgeon -: the unusual thing about this, is that he's autistic. Very interesting as well as enjoyable.

I meant to add that I used to like watching Play for Today. My favourite was Edna the Inebriate woman. It was brilliant and if love to see it again. Also another film was Hotter than the Sun about a journalist making public how easily uranium could be smuggled out of a nuclear power plant. Excellent

A great website to watch free movies and tv is Cineby.
It has some of the latest movies and tv shows plus classics.
Today i watched the 2025 movie 'One Battle After Another' starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. And the 2025 movie 'The Lost Bus' starring Matthew McConaughey. Both movies were excellent.
If i struggle to sleep tonight i fancy watching the new 2026 movie 'Greenland 2 migration' which is a post apocalypse thriller and has great reviews. Alternatively i'll tune into the latest episodes of 'Fallout' which i'm still not sure if i like because its very hard-hitting at times - its also funny but in a dark kind of way.
