What do you have to pay £80 a week for following migration to UC?

Because the disability elements were discarded on esa

So because everything on uc is classed as income on the financial assessment they have worked out I need to pay towards my care

Okay, I understand.
Unfortunately some local authorities treat UC differently to legacy benefits and some people have seen an increase in the amount of things like Council Tax they need to pay.
This is usually down to the Transitional Protection element of UC, because although the person is getting the same as their legacy benefits, they are getting over and above the standard UC rates.
So I myself because I moved to UC before my PIP award I get £823.41 a month Standard Allowance +LCWRA (I would have gotten SDP under the old system), yet someone moving over with a PIP award and SDP, gets Transitional Protection element which can be several hundred pounds in UC over that amount (to start with as TP erodes).
I'd recommend getting a local welfare rights organisation to check over your financial assessment, to make sure you are paying the correct amount.

II get £186 transition payment and £423 for being unable to work then the standard £400 but now I have to pay £66 council tax and £80 a week towards my care
