Worst and Best Advert

Which is your worst or best advert on tv. One thing I do hate, is watching a feel good program or movie only to be interrupted by a certain health advert saying one in two people will die with this illness. That was from one four before the pandemic. Then the best, is the Hamster in the cage ad. I used to like the creature comfort animated adverts about energy.

I really like the haribos adverts and the bank advert where the children sound/act like adults and vice versa, they really make me laugh!

I hate the Heinz beans advert that is shown in between Emmerdale and Coronation Street where it's just a tablespoon of beans and like 2/3 fish fingers because I feel like it's missing mashed potato or something similar so its a proper tea!

I know what you mean. I stopped reading woman’s weekly magazine because it became so preachy every single week about being healthy and losing weight. It just ended up feeling like government propaganda.

    Haribos with the kids voices

The older Aldi ads, like the one with the old dear, "I buy this tea for my husband, he likes tea, he also likes this one…I don't like tea, I like gin!" 😆

Also, the Amazon one with the 3 ladies on a bench looking at kids sledging enjoying the snow, one orders from Amazon & then they join in. That is a wonderful ad! 😍

Hates, all the health insurance, funeral, pee pants, women's products, post code lottery…the list goes on 🤣

I always enjoy about the adverts for heartburn tablets, no one ever buys them when they haven't got heartburn, but when you've got heartburn you'd pay 50 quid for a packet of them

I don't really know what their intention is but I guess it's some long term or metapsychological/brand awareness thing

I don't see many adverts but they usually get on my nerves. Especially because the same adverts are repeated over and over again. One I like is about Nordic cruises, featuring some breathtaking scenery with nice, calming music. Unfortunately it's just a few seconds long.

I think the best & the worst advert is the same one, the "you know you've been tango'd" advert with the orange bloke that comes up & slaps you that was banned in the 1990's

Yes the voice like a very snooty twin set and pearls person droning on about how perfect everything is on their floating care home, my worst nightmare being trapped on a boat with a load of people I don't like No thanks. Oh and the care UK ad were a young woman/girl does the patronising voice about loving being there to care, scream

Its been like 4 years since I last saw an advert, I don't watch TV and on my pc I have strong ad blocking software that blocks everything even video's on youtube and when youtubers goto talk about their sponsor it auto skips.

In the past though my favourite advert has got to be the classic cadbury's gorilla playing phil collins on the drums.

My least all time adverts were the go compare one, I used to have to mute them as they were so annoying. I would never use go compare for this sole reason.

I wouldn't go on a cruise either but would love to be in that location, just admiring the view.

What do you think about those adverts where the guy asks about a medication "Is it for people like me?" Like what, people with beards? People who sit on chairs? Actors? "We're hiring people like you to do X job" I always have an urge to yell "How do you know what I am like?!"

Is that for the website/app Indeed? I know it's an annoying advert but I have no recollection of what it is actually for. Unlike, for example, the Domin-oh-hoo-hoo adverts which make no sense but at least they are memorable.

I hate the Trivago ad - it comes on every 15 minutes and puts me OFF using Trivago - so defeats the object of ads…..
