Hi! Now tell me something embarrassing!
Good morning all,
My name's Carl, I'm new to the forum (but not new to Scope!).
I could tell you all about my pets or my hobbies, but I thought the best way to introduce myself to you all is by sharing a story about one of the most embarrassing thing that's happened to me…
To cut a long story short:
It's the first time meeting my girlfriend's family. I'm dressed smart in some new shorts my girlfriend got me that don't quite fit. I've just lugged four heavy shopping bags 30 minutes across town. I'm sweating buckets in the middle of their kitchen. I mean to shake her dad's hand, but both my hands are full, so I go to lift the bags up onto the table and suddenly the fastening just comes undone. My shorts drop around my ankles. And I'm just stood there in my boxers. In front of all of them. 😶
Now you know one of my more embarrassing secrets, what's something embarrassing that's happened to you?

Welcome to the community @Carl_Scope!
To add to the royal embarassment, I was an events waitress for a while when I was younger and worked some fancy events with royalty present. Lord knows why they trusted me for those events, because I was absolutely terrible at it.
One shift, I absent mindedly walked into Prince Charles' handshake line by while carrying a tray full of champagne glasses. One of his protection staff clocked me and ushered me back out. I panicked a bit, but tried to make a graceful exit. However, for some reason, the way I chose to do that involved slowly walking backwards without looking where I was going.
So of course, I tripped up on my shoes and the entire tray of champagne toppled and smashed onto the floor in front of the Prince. And because of our broken glass protocol I couldn't leave the scene, so I had to stand there over the mess I made while I waited for someone to come and sweep up the glass.
Not the graceful exit I planned 😅

The more I read your posts the more I think you’d make a great biography. Better than most of the celebrities!!
