Uc carers element

Does anyone know what this letter means please? I asked for carers element to be back dated 3 month from jan when we reported it but the date on the lettes is the date i got awarded pip. Im confused lol

    They've awarded the backdated Carers Element from the date the change happened, when you were awarded PIP on 20th February 2023.

    Backpay will be calculated and follow in due course, allow several weeks at least.

    You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment.

    Wow really i cant believe that it couldnt of come at a better time my husband got laid off beggining of jan. How long does it normally take do you know?
