Kirstie Allsopp is back, with a 2017 Christmas craft series for Channel 4, and Raise the Roof Productions is searching for the UK’s most talented crafters to appear. We’re looking for crafty contributors to apply to compete in our festive competitions, filming with Kirstie at a special location.

Could you be a contender for any of these crowns?

Best decorated Christmas tree

Best decorated Christmas cake

Best Christmas wreath

Best handmade advent calendar

Best Christmas wrapping

Best handmade gift

Best Christmas stocking

Best knitted Christmas jumper

Best Christmas hamper

Christmas doesn’t officially start until Kirstie’s on screen. This year as a special treat we’ll get a little bit of that Christmas joy every day across two weeks in December. From her magical Christmas HQ, Kirstie will oversee a daily Christmas craft competition. We’ll also meet the makers getting crafty around the country, and get the chance to see some of the best bits from Kirstie’s Christmas archives with each programme featuring two vintage Kirstie crafts. Each programme will be jam-packed with inspiration, handy hints, tips and festive sparkle.

To apply to enter a competition please email christmas2017@raisetheroofproductions.com and request an application form

The final deadline for applications is the 7th September, however we are urging crafters to apply as soon as possible – we can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us!

Could we perhaps organise a rival thing where we challenge ourselves just to manage to get stuff out the spare room and a feeble tree put up in our messy front rooms.?
