Can you request a phone appointment rather than face to face for UC review?
Hi, I've just received an appointment for next week to visit my local job centre. Is it possible to have this done over the phone? The last one was done over the phone.
Thanks.

I can't find a way to edit the above post. I should mention that I'm on limited capacity for work. I have some kind of autoimmune disease and am concerned about contracting Covid.
Thanks again.0 -
Also, it is a financial review.

Hi,
I remember from previous posts that you have some savings. If this review was randomly triggered by UC then those ones are done over the phone. But if it was triggered by a change in your savings, then those ones are done in person.
I don't know why there is a difference, all I can say is that's what I've seen happening lately. As you have a compromised immune system, that should be a good enough reason to switch from in-person to over the phone. I haven't seen anyone change a savings-triggered review to phone so far, so will be interested to know whether they allow you to do that or not. Please keep us updated.
