Joy isn't an emotion; it is a choice to rejoice even in the valleys

Hi, my name is Agnes! The above quote is born out of my lived experiences—overcoming challenges and fighting battles.

I believe I was created on purpose, for a purpose.

Although having a disability or condition isn't a walk in the park. It can be challenging and distressing. However, it is definitely not our destination.

Your Condition Is Not Your Conclusion —SP Lia

I may not be able to control my condition and how others view me. However, I can change my perspective, and it will shine through. I look forward to raising awareness and advocating for our community and letting the collective voice make a difference!

Cheers :)

With Love,

Agnes

Hi @agnesinspireu, a very big welcome to you, to the forum. Very inspiring words, especially 'I believe I was created on purpose for a purpose'. We will all find our purpose. Thank you for reminding us.

@Santosha12 We are all unique masterpieces! I actually chanced upon SCOPE community when I was researching for references to web accessibility. I believe no one should be excluded from accessing information! I am currently writing my book and would also like to do up my website. Since we are on this topic, do you have anyone in this community who would like to take up this project and have the expertise? A person with lived experience understands it the best!

I'd love to hear more about your project, website and book @agnesinspiru. I agree that those with lived experience are the best 'qualified'/understand it the best.

Personally, I am only interested in forums/websites that offer genuine inclusivity, notwithstanding accessibility is of course important. I have short shrift with those (forums or individuals) that do not.

I'd recommend looking at the various threads on here, see what you think and feel.

Very happy for you to DM if you want any further thoughts; I'm 'just' a forum member so could not recommend anyone with any particular expertise but I think you'd find that through your scrutiny of posts. You can also use the 'search' function' which may help you with particular/specific topics that align with your interests.

With very best wishes to you.
