DLA change of circumstances - moving around

in Everyday life

Hi, I just received a DLA form and it is so confusing to complete. I have a child with serious condiiton that affects the way his bowels are working. the section calls help needed during the day - his needs are unpredicatable, going from needing help five to six times a day to 20 changes a day. I dont even know what would normal be as all I am doing is washing clothes, washign him and helping to change and / or encourage him to go to toilet. it is constant struggle from helping to get dressed to brush his teeth, putting him to the bed, washign him. does not want to eat i always struggle .. how often they need encouragemnet to get out of bed? do i say 10 times and takes about half an hour? there are series of questions - i need some gudance here. best

    Personally i dont think theres any right way of writing these forms it is very daunting but write everything from morning to night and throughout the night like you just said all the washing of clothes bedding how you have to continusly wash clean dress propmt sorry about spelling assist your son with all his needs does he have outbursts does he get upset if so write this if he wont eat how long will he refuse to eat how do you prepare to leave the house its getting about getting your sons real life struggles ago when i do my pip form i write from my heart i pour it all in there if you have to support him 20 times to get put of bed that would be ypur answer goodluck

    thank you so much for the help and sharing your own expericnes. Would they be considered for mobility rate, if we have to cut our trips short to come back home as he would refuse to go to toilet, drag himself on the floor if he poops and refuses to get changed? It takes us ages to leave the house. As we think we are ready to go but there is an accident, you clean and then there is another one, go back to beginning. he always needs superviison as depsite his age he barely communicates his needs, unless we check and notice he does not say he wet himself or pooped.

    Yes everything about your sons condition you highlighted real struggles mention how he is aroumd people does it cause great distress mention all medication if he has a special diet if going in car transport distressing even the clothes he wears due to incontence dont think anything is not important and dont think you cant go into great detail x

    What does mobility part requires? I feel like we are on the grey area.

    I also wonder if anyone has delat with incontenency and if ever he will grow out of this?
