PIP Appeals
How long is the duration for PIP Appeals to the FTT. I applied for PIP daily living on 17/07/2024 and my application was refused on 05/11/2024. I then apply for MR through Citizen Advice Lambeth and Merton and it was refused on 05/12/2026. Centre made appeal for me to the FTT on 17/10/2025 and in October 2025, the DWP rang me and said since I have applied before for PIP on 02/02/2021 and my application was refused and I took the appeal onto the CoA, she will either Change the decision or schedule another appeal hearing. The thing is the DWP text me on 11/01/2025 and said my has been received and they will make decision within 15 weeks. The DWP also text me on 13/02/2025 and said that they will make a decision by 28/04/2025. When I never got any reply as stated, I then rang them on 29/04/2025 and they said that they have made a decision since 26/02/2025. I told them that I never received any post and they events send another decision letter for me. On the 17/12/2025, the government stop discontinued funding for Centre 70 and they closed. Now Brixton Advice Centre has decided to represent me and the DWP has accepted it. Since 17/07/2025 I have been tracking my appeal to the present. On my first appeal I never understand the PIP regulations, which says a prosthetic is an aid. My condition is dental issues and PTSD, which is affecting me daily for eating, talking, meeting with other people. According to the PIP regulations, I should have scored 8 points and get the standard living component, because since my attacked on 04/10/2014, I lost several front teeths and my lower jawbone was fractured, so I am using dentures which is classified as prosthetic that aid me daily. The DWP made a mistake in my 1st and 2nd application and they never mentioned about this prosthetic regulations.

FTT,First - tier Tribunal. This is the stage after MR, Mandatory reconsideration. After FTT you have UT, Upper Tribunal, and then finally CoA, Court of Appeals.

Any comment about my PIP appeals, in relation to the duration for the heating and the DWP erred in law on in relation to my 1st and 2nd application for the PIP regulations which says prosthetic is an aid. Will the DWP change their decision as they have said or will they schedule a new hearing.
