How about another challenge, the 7-day one from last October, available to premium members? Each day is a max of 10 min. Does anyone want to do this?

Hi all! @SmellyBin and I have been talking by private message here, and it turns out she has already done this challenge. So for anyone else that that wants to do it, I will be doing it in the mornings, starting on Monday. You don't need to post that you'll be doing it, I'll be doing it regardless. And I will send vibes out to the universe and receive vibes from the universe, knowing we are all part of the universe. 😁

Instead, @SmellyBin and I will be doing this quick 5-minute meditation tonight at 5:00 p.m. UK time, 6:00 p.m. European time....

You can do this any time and it is available to everyone even without the app. Here is the online website link:

    😊

Does anyone want to sit together at 5/6 PM?

Hi @SmellyBin the challenge isn't for me. Yes, I can sit with you tomorrow at 6. How about you pick something under 15 min? Maybe you can pick something from online that's free so anyone can join?

I am also not that much of a doom-scroller with the necessary hit of dopamine, but did sign up for the challenge as I am hoping for interesting tools or teachers, @StarryEyed

Here is one of my fav teachers Jill Satterfield, her sessions are always very gentle and I hope people appreciate this one.

Will others be joining us? Either indeed with the same meditation or just being out there at the same time tomorrow, perhaps meditating in silence… Would be ever so nice 💕

Thank you for that meditation, @SmellyBin Yesterday when I listened to it, I didn't finish as she knocked me out for an hour in deep sleep. Wow! So I just listened again and it's quite lovely and effective.

There is so much to choose from on this app. It's quite fitting for this thread topic "types of meditation". I had no idea meditation options have come so far!!! Finding your style of meditation can be like.....

(...trying to find a needle in a haystack.)

I'm pretty clear on what I want and have a good background foundation to build on. Even then it can sometimes be overwhelming to choose. So I thought maybe that would be a good topic - to discuss what we're looking for and how to sift through all the options. And how to not get into choice paralysis.

I am not that organized, not working towards something or building a proper set of recordings. There are a few teachers I keep coming back to, but am also very happy to find new ones.

But I am glad you liked this one, I listened to it two days in a row as well and indeed had a profound effect on me. Too bad Jill Satterfield is not on IT. If you like to hear more by her, check out Sangha Live: search for her name. It says recordings of 90 min, but it is mostly a guidance of 20-25 min at the start of the session. She often mentions the nervous system.

Michael Galyon is one I discovered through the Self-Belief Challenge and have been doing several recordings by him recently. It seems he is very popular through Instagram, but I had never ever heard of him before. But then again, I live mostly underneath a rock :)

    Good morning, @SmellyBin ❤️

Thank you for the other suggestions but I'm already full up now for meditations with my audio books, YouTube and now Insight Timer. I appreciate your help.

So I understand you're not focused on a particular subject for meditation. Are you focused on a particular style of meditation?
