Can I wish all you lovely mums out there a very happy 'Mother's Day'. Any mums out there with children 'missing', my heartfelt thoughts to you, as my only one is also missing from my life. And all of you whose mums are no longer here.

I realised today is the first time 'Mother's Day' has fell on the 15th March, since 2015 and only the second time since I was born in 1963 (I like anniversaries to fall on the exact same day 🙄🫠😊). Checked my diary and in 2015 went to mum's and cooked for her, and my sisters, a leg of lamb etc) as I was broke, couldn't take her anywhere after seeing Andre Rieu in Dec 2014 but it was a lovely day. Even though I don't like lamb 😕.

Happy memories to treasure. I even put mum's necklace on after a complete faff fastening it 🤣.

For me, it's a case of treasuring my memories as I treasured my mum xx

15th March is the date my mum got her cancer diagnosis and she was gone 17 days later, the evening before Mother's Day which felt just right.

I am a mum and she is the love of my life 💕

That reminds me …. Does any of you remember the Pneumatic Tubes that were used to send sales slips/cash in some department stores, at the check out tills. Similar to this ……..
