    I love all the soaps.

I think they are all good at the moment.

Football is on tonight so unless you watch on catchup, no Corrie or Emmerdale.

    always loved the soaps

Brookside was always my favourite seen the whole series through a few times. Ironically the body under the patio storyline was the first week I ever watched it as a kid and the timing was genuinely a coincidence as I was unaware that was happening that week may 7th 1993 remember it clearly.

I watched EastEnders from the Eddie Royle Whodunnit in 1991 and watched everything else up to then on drama

coronation street I started around 1993

Emmerdale also 1993 About 10 episodes before the plane crash where Elizabeth Pollard threw a typewriter at Eric.

I always loved the aussie ones I have the entire series of prisoner CBH and sons and Daughters on DVD.

we live in a great time for classic soaps as PCBH is also on 5 on demand, brookside on stv, classic EastEnders on iPlayer and drama, classic Emmerdale and Corrie on itv3/x

and shortland Street is being uploaded to YouTube by the official licensor the first five years are there, stv shows modern episodes and the gap between ITV axing it in 2003 will soon be covered.

sunset beach occasionally turns up overnight on a channel cbs I think

    nostalgia rules.

I haven't watched home and away since Ailsa Stewart died I did briefly start again for the Zoe McAllister storyline in 2005/6 but I'd definitely watch some classics. I'll check it out later 😀

flying doctors and a country practice are available on dvd, although prisoner was released in the uk all the others only got Australian releases but they play on UK players and can be found on ebay that's where I got my sons and daughters sets.

families I recall vaguely on ITV afternoons which alternatively rotated with the young doctors and sons and daughters. ITV isn't the channel ot used to be but what fond memories we all have.

    @SheffieldMan1976

Footballers are delicate little souls who roll around the field like drama queens at the slightest fall to the ground.

I really have no time for over paid pampered attention seekers.

The first 5 years of shortland Street (1992-1997) are on the official YouTube channel with 1998,1999 due this year, modern episodes are on stv player but the only cast you'd recognise are Chris Warner, Rachel McKenna and David Kearney.

prisoner is available on my5 iin full

some sons and daughters are on YouTube but only episodes from the 2009 dvds the only way to see all 972 episodes is the dvd sets.

a country practice and the young doctors are only on DVD

families and fire unfortunately will unlikely show up anywhere again but you never know.

water rats was on prime video not sure if it still is

blue heelers is another dvd job

as for football I also can't stand it, ITV soaps are on Sunday again (Easter day) to compensate for tonight

I'm not allowed to speak during Coronation Street, does my wife's head in moaning at the characters, picking the plots apart … I mean Debbie having an Appeal so quick 😮C'mon the justice system is broken in real life

As for David getting over his PTSD after one session … still fuming about that one 😂

Maybe because I'm just jealous …

The biggest question has to be … is the Rovers Return a money laundering operation … how much beer are they selling to employ 4 staff and pay a wage to the owners ? Hmmmm very decidely dodgy IMO
