Pain after knee replacement

Hi my name is Mistyis5 I've just had a full knee replacement on 17-03-2026 I'm one week in and the pain is unbearable is this normal?

    I am sorry you are suffering so much after your knee replacement. I think having a chat with your GP would be a good idea as they will have the details of your operation. Perhaps you need some stronger pain killers.

    Sorry to hear you are in so much pain, as Bluebell suggested above chatting to your GP my be the best port of call as they can potentially prescribe some stronger pain medication. I really hope you manage to find a solution and the pain eases soon.

    I had a partial knee replacement, 10 years ago and yes it was painful - especially putting any weight on it for a fortnight - but after that, it stopped hurting so much..

    Hopefully - it will stop hurting for you soon - ask your GP for stronger pain killers for a few days.
