Still not managed to finish off waxing my car yet, every time I try when I'm part way through either an obligation comes up or it starts raining and so only part of the car gets done.

Sounds like you're busy @Schildpad! Is it art therapy tomorrow? I'm off work tomorrow and want to use the time effectively. I guess if the weather is going to be a bit miserable it'll be a good day to do some housework. Let's see if I get the motivation!

I managed to get out for a couple of hours and I went to visit a dear friend who spent 6 months in hospital and was recently discharged home.
I'm going to watch the soaps later and have an early night.

I bet your friend was so happy to see you. I hope she's recovering well @luvpink

Hi thanks Rachel
Yes he was very pleased to see me.
He didn't want visitors the whole six months he was in hospital, only family because he's been so ill and lost a lot of weight.
His recovery will be really slow and extremely limited in terms of physical capacity.
Unfortunately his illness is life changing but it was lovely to see him in good spirit and obviously he's very glad to be home.

Thanks, @Rachel_Scope. No point worrying as I couldn't do anything about it, just hope she is an honest person.

Hi @JessieJ I am so sorry to hear what has happened. Could you perhaps look on line to see how much it would cost to have this repaired so you have some idea. Then when she produces a bill you will know if she is not going to be honest.
I am glad you were not injured yourself.
Good luck.
