How were the bands this weekend? Were they as good as they sounded? ๐

Absolutely brilliant.
We have all day live entertainment on the harbour this Saturday.
I hope it doesn't rain.

Good to hear! You can't beat live bands in my opinion.
That sounds lovely - bet the views are beautiful.

Tried to renew my 3 year restricted driving licence online, no can do, have to make a 15 mile round trip by bus, in order to get photo id at a Post Office.
I suppose those of us without smartphones, we are going to be forced to get one in the end. I just don't see why I should have both a tablet and a pocket computer. ๐
No, i don't have a car, but my nowadays restricted licence is my only id, the reason I hang onto it.

I had another lovely aftenoon out enjoying the sunshine.
Its been quite breezy here.
I'm exhausted from lack of sleep so I'm having a restful evening listening to 70's music.

Good night everyone. Bed time for me.

Morning everyone! Hope you're all surviving in this heat!
That's such a pain @ColonelBlink! How long would it take you on the bus? Maybe you could make a day out of it if you're feeling up to it!
Always nice to get your hair done @trouble5316. Did you get anything special done or just your regular style?
So cheeky @Nicebrit ๐ bet the cat enjoyed your bacon! Did you get a storm? We were supposed to have thunder but nothing really came of it.
Hope you both had restful evenings @luvpink and @Bluebell21!

Good morning.
Its cooler here today.
I hardly slept again last night.
I'm going to the city today to have a look around some shops and I need to buy some grocery essentials.
I hope you all have as good a day as you can.

Good morning everyone. A bit later today. We had a storm last night so a lot cooler today. Made it easier to sleep last night.
I am having my nails done today so a bit of pampering.
I did have a restful evening thanks @Rosie_Scope
Take care.

Have a lovely time in the city @luvpink, it's definitely more manageable heat here today too so hopefully not as hot for sleeping tonight.
Sounds great @Bluebell21! What style of nails do you think you'll go for today?

It turned really quite hot here as the day went on.
It was busy in the city.
A lot of shoppers were buying summer clothes.
I bought 3 summer camisole tops, a pair of comfy flat slip on mules and a pair of earrings.
I must have a sort out soon and donate some clothes to a charity shop.
All in all its been a good happy day for me.
I'm having a relaxing evening.

I've got a friend visiting in a bit, and then probably won't be doing much except gaming to get some last minute end of the month achievements.
Busy weekend planned, Taekwondo seminar in Penistone tomorrow morning, then Karaoke in the George after tea tomorrow night.

Sounds like a jam packed day @SheffieldMan1976, what is you go to karoke song?
It's much cooler here today too @Amberpearl, are you enjoying the milder weather?
Does anybody have any plans for the weekend? I think I'm just having a quiet and relaxed one after a busy couple of weekends! Hoping to try out a new coffee shop and find some bargains in the charity shops!0 -
I have a few favourite Karaoke songs, when I was in last week I did Bat out of hell by Meat Loaf and This Ol' House by Shakin' Stevens, I've also done Daydream Believer by The Monkees, and Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin.
